Self-awareness

Personal effectiveness, self-awareness and inner balance.

30 minutes · free introductory conversation

We work with what matters to you.

There are times when our familiar solutions stop working. You may have faced an unexpected difficulty, or simply feel capable of more while something holds you back. You do not have to face that loss of balance alone. I offer a space where you can explore your life with professional support and without judgement.

Focus areas

What clients most often bring.

“I feel as though I keep going round in the same circles.”

We explore unconscious patterns and script decisions that bring you back to similar conflicts or setbacks. Understanding the pattern opens up the possibility of changing it.

“I am not good enough; everything seems easier for other people.”

We work on firmer foundations for self-esteem and explore critical inner voices, so that your own inner security can become more important than meeting external expectations.

“I keep getting hurt in relationships and drawn into games.”

We explore recurring relationship patterns, recognising and interrupting destructive games to make room for valuable, healthier relationships.

“I am constantly tense and cannot see beyond all the tasks.”

We work with practical stress-management and time-management approaches, looking beyond immediate firefighting towards a way of living that also leaves room to recharge.

“Conflict at work makes me dread going in.”

We develop your communication and conflict-management resources, including representing your interests assertively and staying grounded in difficult workplace situations.

“Something changed in my life that I was not prepared for.”

I offer a supportive framework for exploring upheaval and change, helping you regain balance and take an active role in the new situation.

“I take on too much and then collapse under the weight.”

We explore why success may feel as though it has to come through struggle, and work on priorities that also leave room to enjoy life.

My approach in practice

My approach and background

My approach creates an atmosphere in which you feel safe and supported, while I also offer gentle, appropriate challenge. These two elements belong together in development.

Transactional analysis offers a distinctive framework for these questions. It can help you understand why the same patterns recur and how different decisions become possible. I use developmental transactional analysis to help you access and develop the potential already within you — to discover it, name it and use it.

Feedback on our work

Experiences of individual work together.

Individual self-awareness work

It is difficult to single out what was most helpful because I gained so much from our work together. Analysing the tests and learning about ego states and psychological games helped me understand myself and how I function much better. During the sessions, I realised how strongly my thinking had been shaped by the picture I had held for years of my “path”. I understood that I had often tied my happiness to a future goal, while finding it hard to experience and appreciate the present, and this had been wearing me down. Our work helped me become more accepting of myself and learn to be more present where I actually am. This was an enormous step for me, and sometimes I still find it hard to take in that I managed it. During the sessions I realised that I had not accepted myself before. Even after the first meeting, I felt we had found a common language. A great weight lifted, and I experienced a relief I had not known before. Throughout, I felt I was working with a prepared, attentive and truly committed professional. I really appreciated that you drew on several methods during the sessions: you took notes, made audio recordings and we analysed tests, and I always felt you were accompanying my process consciously and attentively. From the very first moment, I felt that you were not simply providing a service, but doing this work to help people. I value that very much. I am deeply grateful that you helped me understand and accept myself more fully. I am glad to have met you, and sincerely thank you for our work together.

Individual coaching process

During the coaching process with Szabi, I reached several important personal insights. I became more aware of the inner drivers operating in certain situations and how they affect my decisions and relationships. Recognising the drama triangle dynamics in a relationship important to me was a particularly powerful insight. It also made clear that I had choices in that situation. These insights brought not only understanding but concrete changes I could apply in everyday life. Throughout, Szabi’s work was characterised by high professional standards, strong presence and a safe space. He used transactional analysis naturally, integrating it into the process in a way that greatly supported my self-reflection and understanding of relationship patterns. I also valued his feedback grounded in the here and now, which deepened my experience and awareness. His questions helped me move forward; he treated me as a partner throughout and gave me room to find my own solutions. Overall, the coaching process with Szabi was effective and brought development for me.
