Sabi Lovas seated in a light-coloured armchair

I know this experience too.

As a leader, practitioner and person, I know from experience what it feels like to lose your balance or keep going through the same painful cycles in relationships, at work or in your career. It can feel as if you are following an unfamiliar script while longing to be yourself and connect genuinely with others. I support clients in taking the wheel again, whether that means leading a company or finding a way through everyday chaos.

This is why I do not observe your difficulties from a distance. I work alongside you as a partner, bringing professional knowledge and new perspectives to our shared thinking.

The essence of my work

I help make visible what has been shaping how you function without being noticed.

When you understand more clearly what is happening within and around you, more genuine choices become available. Change can then grow from your own insights and new decisions rather than from a ready-made answer imposed from outside.

How do I work with you?

Together, we explore what works

I do not apply a predetermined method to you. I observe, ask questions, share what I notice and explore different approaches with you.

We pay attention to what genuinely helps. We continue with what works, and when something does not fit, we look for another path.

Care and appropriate challenge

It matters to me that you feel seen, taken seriously and cared for. At the same time, our work is more than a supportive conversation.

At times I will reflect back what I see and ask questions that may help you reconsider beliefs you hold about yourself, other people or the world.

What we pay attention to in our work together

What happens within and around you

  1. Nervous-system characteristics

A neuro-informed perspective helps make sense of difficulties related to attention, capacity, emotional regulation or the distinctive functioning of executive functions.

  2. Psychological patterns

We explore how your psychological needs and earlier experiences affect your present thoughts, feelings, behaviour and decisions.

  3. The influence of your environment

We also consider how the family, workplace or organisational environment in which you function affects you.

Individual work and organisational development

Different settings, one shared aim: insight, decision, becoming more.

In individual work

We explore how psychological patterns, nervous-system functioning and your current situation interact.

The aim is to understand yourself more fully, relate to yourself with greater care and discover new possibilities.

When working with organisations

High turnover, poor collaboration, stalled innovation or disappointing results are often influenced by relationship and organisational patterns that are difficult to see.

Transactional analysis and systemic thinking help us explore how business problems connect with an organisation’s psychological functioning and unconscious scripts.

Working together, we develop solutions that can help rewrite these patterns so you can truly use the potential within your organisation.

His work is guided by sincere human connection and strong professional and ethical values. If you think you already know everything about transactional analysis, you are mistaken. Transactional analysis workshop

Szabolcs invited us into shared thinking that was easy to engage with yet went deep during the training. I really liked that he kept drawing our attention to critical thinking in TA. Thank you for a memorable workshop that gave us so many practical tools!

Individual coaching and self-awareness

Individual self-awareness work

It is difficult to single out what was most helpful because I gained so much from our work together. Analysing the tests and learning about ego states and psychological games helped me understand myself and how I function much better. During the sessions, I realised how strongly my thinking had been shaped by the picture I had held for years of my “path”. I understood that I had often tied my happiness to a future goal, while finding it hard to experience and appreciate the present, and this had been wearing me down. Our work helped me become more accepting of myself and learn to be more present where I actually am. This was an enormous step for me, and sometimes I still find it hard to take in that I managed it. During the sessions I realised that I had not accepted myself before. Even after the first meeting, I felt we had found a common language. A great weight lifted, and I experienced a relief I had not known before. Throughout, I felt I was working with a prepared, attentive and truly committed professional. I really appreciated that you drew on several methods during the sessions: you took notes, made audio recordings and we analysed tests, and I always felt you were accompanying my process consciously and attentively. From the very first moment, I felt that you were not simply providing a service, but doing this work to help people. I value that very much. I am deeply grateful that you helped me understand and accept myself more fully. I am glad to have met you, and sincerely thank you for our work together.

Individual coaching process

During the coaching process with Szabi, I reached several important personal insights. I became more aware of the inner drivers operating in certain situations and how they affect my decisions and relationships. Recognising the drama triangle dynamics in a relationship important to me was a particularly powerful insight. It also made clear that I had choices in that situation. These insights brought not only understanding but concrete changes I could apply in everyday life. Throughout, Szabi’s work was characterised by high professional standards, strong presence and a safe space. He used transactional analysis naturally, integrating it into the process in a way that greatly supported my self-reflection and understanding of relationship patterns. I also valued his feedback grounded in the here and now, which deepened my experience and awareness. His questions helped me move forward; he treated me as a partner throughout and gave me room to find my own solutions. Overall, the coaching process with Szabi was effective and brought development for me.

Leadership development programmes and training

Leadership development training

As an old hand in the insurance profession, I thought I already knew “everything” about what makes a good leader and a well-functioning team. During the training, I realised how much the theoretical and, emphatically, practical knowledge we received session by session could change the team’s dynamics, effectiveness, shared thinking and everyday work. Alongside the numbers, the individuals became clearer: we could see each person’s “buttons” and identify where they were in their personal and working lives, and where I, as a leader, could intervene and help in these different situations. Most importantly, applying these exercises significantly improved my time management, allowing me to devote the time and energy freed up to teaching and developing my new colleagues.

Masters of People Skills programme

I have known my colleagues for five years, or at least I thought I knew them. Then the Masters of People Skills programme challenged a great many assumptions. I realised I did not really know them at all. I had categorised them according to my first impression. Today I talk with them more, take a real interest and no longer lead them in a strictly authoritarian way.
